Kentucky Apprenticeship

The Personnel Cabinet proudly supports apprenticeship and training programs offered by state agencies in cooperation with the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.

These programs offer on the job training supplemented with technical classroom instruction. Apprentices are able to develop their chosen trade or skill and learn the techniques and equipment associated with that trade. Upon successful completion of a program, nationally recognized certifications are issued by the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, verifying that the apprentice is a fully qualified skilled worker in the trade.

If interested finding out more or applying to a registered apprenticeship program, please refer to the contact information provided below, as each agency administers their own unique program.
