Team Kentucky Internship Program
The Team Kentucky Internship Program is a new, exclusive internship program that was developed with students in mind! It is intended to provide students the opportunity to gain meaningful experience and employment in state government.
In addition to developing practical workplace skills in a variety of professional areas, interns are effectively introduced to the exciting career options in public service. The program strives to provide opportunities for students to gain first-hand experience, knowledge, and understanding of governmental processes through various fields.
How to Apply:
Students are required to complete and submit an online application to the specific Team Kentucky Internship Program (TKIP) job posting they are interested in. If unsure which posting is the best fit, students can apply to the Team Kentucky Internship Program general requisition for assistance with matching areas of interest. An unofficial transcript must be uploaded with the application. The unofficial transcript will be reviewed to ensure all requirements are met before students are approved for the program.
Program Dates
Interns may begin employment prior to the program start date, and continue working after the program ends, based on the offer of employment from the hiring agency.
